Problem Solvers. Inc.

Intern Orientation

In order to have a productive training environment and positive experience for all, interns should be aware of and mindful of expectations and requirements.

Expectations

Problem Solvers Inc. operates within the auspices of the Blue and Gold Teams at Madison Middle School. Thus, all of the expectations and consequences of those bodies are first and foremost.

As a reminder, the Madison Code (the Bulldog Bark) includes:

  1. I treat myself, others and property with respect.
  2. I am prepared to learn. I am where I am supposed to be when I am supposed to be.
  3. I keep my language appropriate and truthful.
  4. I promote the safety and well being of all others at Madison.
  5. I keep my hands and feet to myself.
  6. I promote my own learning and the learning of others.

Norms and expectations specific to the activities of Problem Solvers Inc. can be summarized in two phrases.

More specific norms will be discussed and detailed during our first meetings. We will revisit and revise these as needed throughout the training period.
